  2. Clearly, what these people share is trauma in their backgrounds. I'm guessing they all don't share the same cause of the trauma, but the election result was the trigger that allowed them to express these crazy trauma responses. The responses merely demonstrate their mental instability. Like you suggested, a sane person would get a hair brush, blow their nose and go for a walk, not disown their dad.
