This does not bode well for the Dems here. I wonder how many seats conservatives pick up here. I cannot wait for the election.

I'm an American and I watched so many videos from former Labor enclaves that said no way to Corbyn's socialism. Families that voted Labor for generations voted the other side. i was so taken by their stories. I'm so proud of our cousins in Britain. I mean that in a literal way. I was brought to tears with people taking stock and voting the way they did. I can imagine how hard that is. My family has been Democrats for decades and I'm a Republican. It's tough to be a conservative in California.

this is an underrated comment. I literally laughed. This needs way more upvotes unless you come back with "No really, do they sit on the other side?"

nice try, but you're incorrect if you'd watched any exit interviews. The labour areas did not want socialism. The same will happen in America. Trump will win by a landslide.

Tony the Tiger.

Harry, after what these globalist socialists have put Trump through and after all the numbers being so positive, yes, it will be a landslide.

@elmtree33 No, Californians are wacky. I'm from the midwest and live out here. This is a nutjob state but the weather is great.

Actually, From 1798 to 1800, the U.S. and France clashed in a series of naval hostilities but never formally declared war. At issue was France’s resentment at what it viewed as American partiality to France’s enemy Britain. The U.S. was angry because French privateers had been seizing American ships and the French foreign minister had demanded a bribe in return for peace talks. After two years of clashes at sea, an agreement with new French leader Napoleon Bonaparte ended the “quasi-war.” So Britain could be considered our longest if you consider this dust up.

well done. Let's hope Americans do the same with Trump after all of the attempted coups. Then Britian and the US can go back to the trade partnerships we had before.

@Cjbx11 That is EXACTLY why Trump is President. The left has gone so far left that their Socialist agenda doesn't resonate with working Americans. And Trump is killing it. Our unemployment is the lowest in decades, African Americans and Hispanics have the best unemployment EVER. We added 266,000 good jobs this month when the experts said it would be about 100K. And now with Brexit we are expecting a great deal with Britian on trade like the old days when Britain wasn't part of that failing world order.

Underrated comment. My thoughts exactly. Reagan Thatcher but Trump Johnson. Nice pull. BTW, Reagan Thatcher were the BEST OF TIMES. Let's hope it repeats. BTW, if you mean unrelenting prosperity as "hunger pangs" then yeah. Because Trump is killing it in the job market with 266,000 when they thought it would be 100,000. He's also got more African-Americans working than any time in 50 years. here's the deal, if you think Trump isn't making things better, no one can make your sh!t better. You NEED socialists to hand you a life.

They have the majority to just vote it through. There is no way to stop it.

@icomment2533 "you're" btw, apparently "simple" is a relative term.

absolutely. The left wing of the Democratic party are sh!tting their pants.

Corbyn is a pariah.

Some of us feel your pain in the US.

I watched for days as an American because I was hoping he won for trade between our countries and you being back to being an independent country. We are going to rock it trade wise without EU barriers. I'm so happy you guys went with Johnson's view of the future.
