Apparently he hasn't been impeached. Pelosi has the old "cold feet" syndrome because she knows this is going to f*ck the Dems come election time. She didn't even send the articles over to the Senate. Wow it was SO important that everything had to be put on hold for months....Then I guess she thought it wasn't so important. Hmmm.

@dr.g3860 Scholars disagree if technically there is an impeachment if she doesn't send the articles over to the Senate. I'm of the mindset that it is impeachment, but I've been reading some constitutional scholars' opinions that Pelosi's actions may impact the process definition. But an impeachment is merely a "charge" as it were. So in effect, he's been "charged" and now comes the trial. But I see the point as well that if a "charge" isn't brought to court, is it actually a charge at all?

There are others who agree...“A vote to impeach without attempting a prosecution (like not delivering the articles) is unrecognizable historically as ‘impeachment,’” Jed Shugerman, a law professor at Fordham, wrote on Twitter." So there is discord in even that article.
