@hwfq34fajw9foiffawdiufhuaiwfhw those "dropouts" for Delta almost all have a Bachelor's Degree and make an average of $30.70 per hour and make $74,320.00 per year on average.

and also "Don't judge a book by its cover".

@umoreno644 you apply online. You'll do a couple interviews online. If you pass those you'll get an interview in Atlanta. They'll fly you out. If you pass that they notify you of your class to study in Atlanta.

It's an awesome accomplishment. 195,000 apply each year and they take 3000 as you saw.

They're just trying to make sure the FA can lead during a crisis and serve good drinks when everything is okay..

You apply online. You'll have a computer video interview, and maybe a second one. If you get through those, they'll fly you to Atlanta for a face to face. If you pass that, they'll notify you of your class start date. Good luck.

who is doing CPR on a corpse? I mean no one is gonna beat a dead horse.

So here's the deal. The average sallary is $30.70 an hour and $74,320.00 per year. but you are only paid when the plane is in the air. You aren't paid on the runway and after landing so a lot of time where you are actually working isn't paid. But you get put up in five star hotels whatever country you are in and your parents and significant other fly for free (they are on standby and pay the taxes only for international travel). So there a lot of perqs.

The doors is often where people drop out after they start. You have to know how to operate every door on every type of aircraft and you need to be at 90% of everything all the way through training. it's sad to see people drop out at doors when they've gone through so much to get that far.
1
No, their REAL job is to make sure all of the passengers get through an emergency. They are waiters/waitresses. They are the last to leave the plane and are trained to save lives. It is like a boot camp but because they need to see who can lead during an emergency. Even though they are rare, you want leaders making sure people are safe.

the average is $30.70 per hour and $74,320.00 per year. That's the middle; not the newbies and not the veterans.
1
Um, no. That is an incorrect perception.
1
That's part of assessment.
1
Yes. There are several men in each class.
1
No, they don't.

with Delta you initially apply on line. They do a computer face to face. if you pass that you get a second one. if you pass that they fly you to Atlanta for a face to face interview. if you pass that they notify you when you will be starting training in Atlanta for six weeks. If you pass you put in your top three home base cities. You'll never get Los Angeles to start. You'll probably get Minneapolis or something like that but that is an intertnational hub so you'll get to go overseas. Good luck. ;)

@Sophie 1726 Yeah right, a "real" service dog that is a pitbull. Did you buy it's vest online with neat patches. Who certified the dog? I call BS.

Best of luck to all of you.

Delta has 195,000 applicants per year and they select around 3000. Age isn't your first concern.

until there's an issue.

so on average it's $30.70 per hour and $74,320.00 per year. Not rich but not poverty.
1
it's frankly brutal. you are a highly trained safety specialist who spends 99.9% of your time serving drinks. And people don't realize you're only paid when you're in the air. When the plane is on the runway you aren't being paid. So the FA saying goodbye to you as you exit the plane, that's for free.
1
On average it's $30.70 per hour and $74,320.00 per year. It's not too bad.
1
On average $30.70 per hour and $74,320.00 per year with free flying anywhere for you, your parents and your significant other. I mean it's not the best job but it's not the worst either.
1
the best training.
1
The heart's nearer the middle now. This is post Mandela Effect. That where it was during the last incarantion.
1
So what you're saying is, is that basically you're an idiot.
1
There are upsides and downsides. You and your parents fly for free (and your significant other). But you're only paid when you're in the air. On the runway is unpaid. The average salary is $30.70 per hour and $74,320.00 per year. It's hard to fly for Delta. But if you choose it, it's a solid career.
