  2. I lucidly dream. I can control them. I literally decide what to do in dreams. But often becoming aware causes waking. if you look down at your hands in the dream you can stay there much longer and do what you want. But, it is difficult because you are creating the dream while awake in the dream. As I feel like I'm going to wake up, I look down at my hands to become ensconced back in the dream again and I can stay and play for a bit longer before I start to feel like I may awaken.. When I start to lose it and feel like I might wake, i look down at my hands again in the dream until i see real dream hands knowing I'm fully in the dream again then I can go play some more. But I'm FULLY awake in the dream. It's as if I'm awake but I'm dreaming and fully aware I'm doing it. I'm literally doing what I want in that world as an awake person so you can only IMAGINE what I waste time doing. Really. I spend a lot of time doing "silly" stuff. Looking at my hands was a trick someone told me many years ago who also lucidly dreams and I use that technique very well. When I'm dreaming and wake up in the dream, before it fades I say to myself look at your hands or you'll wake up. Focus! I focus on my dream hands and then I can look back up and stay in the dream world but I'm awake. It takes practice. It sounds crazy but lucid dreamers are everywhere.
