To make matters worse, apparently '750 grams (~1.65 lbs) of sodium' solely refers to the sodium ions (which I'll assume comes from salt), which means that there are 750/23 moles (~1.65/23 or .0719 lb-mol) of sodium ions and an equivalent amount of chlorine ions (which would weigh 35(750/23) grams (~35(1.65/23) or ~2.52 lbs); I'm being generous here and am assuming that all chlorine ions are of the isotope chlorine-35). This means that the total mass of the sodium and chlorine ions is roughly (let's ignore the heat energy given off by the reaction) 750+(35/23)750 or 43500/23 g (~1.89 kg or ~4.17 lbs of salt). You would certainly notice as the Lunchables would be very heavy and the fact that unless it was even heavier, there wouldn't be enough food for the salt to hide in (assuming that they didn't define a serving to be ~1000 Lunchables or something similar), making it even more obvious!
