  1.  @fabmario  No. What he PROMISED was socialism. He only kept his promise for a few years. Then he picked a brutal authoritarian right-wing regime. I'd say right-wing because he was a government that only became one to maximize profits at others expense. And no, socialism doesn't ruin an economy in general, it's just that their sometimes there isn't enough real stock of money in the country to implement it. (As a side note, America should consider implementing socialism as it has enough money to do so. The only thing required is that the money needs to be used in a way that benefits the people instead of sitting in the pockets of the people in the top 1% of wealth.)
