I'm not quite sure why universities are so desperate to price everyone out, though I am pretty confident I can figure out why the economic elites want people to neglect their education, to the point that one party devotes considerable energy in the US to damaging the education system. Who wants a worker with enough education to understand why a union is just a straight up very good idea for them personally? Sure as shit not a single large company, and they invest their money accordingly, to cripple the education system, and then dump endless propaganda on people, calling it 'entertainment'. Oh yeah, the real problem is people maybe getting free prescription meds, not the system exploitation of the working class to the point the workers can't even afford medical care.
