The habit forming nature of these foods is part of how they work, if you've never had access to good vegetables you don't know how enjoyable it can be to eat them, and similarly, if you haven't trained your body to eat raw vegetables it will take time to get used to them, this is part of why children need to have access to real food, if a kid doesn't think good raisins (like flame or lexia) are sweet, they need to work on their palate, they're eating too much non-sugar sweeteners, because a lexia raisin is generally more than half sugar by weight. Because I eat primarily actual food, and even did as a kid, I've never been overly fond of fast food, I've always preferred actual home cooked food when I have the option. I remember being a kid and hearing other kids talk about how much they loved mcdonalds food, especially the fries! I couldn't believe it, we didn't eat it very often, but I had tried it, and while it was better than a 'bad' meal at home, we had almost no such meals, so mcdonalds tasted cheap and artificial. At this point I literally grow my own potatoes, garlic, onions, leeks, tomatoes, peppers, etc many of which get processed. As a side effect I eat better than most people period, regardless of their wealth, it doesn't hurt that I'm also an excellent cook, but growing a lot of my own food really changes things. I've even raised and processed some chickens, it's unreal how different the meat tasted and smelled, it turns out chicken has plenty of flavor if you don't butcher it when it's a tiny baby bird that's still putting on weight, we had dressed chickens that were well over 10lb, one breast could feed 3 or 4 people on a regular night, our food is a nightmare.
The issue with peanut butter isn't actually taste, it's texture, pure peanut butter (made with nothing but peanuts) tastes quite good, but it is also relatively stiff, and it's prone to separation the more finely you grind it (and if you remove those thin skins, that's another big thing! the shell can go, but afaik the skins help with digesting peanuts). I know about this because we lived near a store that sold peanut butter that was ground on demand, from their own roasted peanuts. It was very nifty.

This man is this rich because his odious personality is what our society looks on and wishes to reward. Our society doesn't reward hard work, diligence, morality, or ethical character, it rewards selfishness and greed. I'm willing to bet I worked harder before I was 10 years old than that sack of crap ever did.
Also, ffs, there is no similarity between gambling and investments made by the wealthy, look into their rate of return some time, it's not gambling when you have no chance of losing. The stock market for the rich is a money printing engine, it can only print so much money (as a % of existing money) at a time, but there are only so many rich, so they don't mind sharing it, as long as they keep the poor from gaining any of the pie. It's been the strategy since the 50s to slowly grow the wages of the middle class (and to shrink those of the poor) such that they're effectively losing ground, but due to advances in tech they'll barely notice that their quality of life hasn't been improving, they just have more dumb gadgets that will quickly break, because once they couldn't really pay workers any less (or work them any harder, downsizing had done it's job) they had to make the quality of goods go down to raise profit margins, otherwise the line wouldn't go up and capitalism would be revealed for the lie it is (and the wealth of the wealthy would be stripped from their cooling remains).
