  15. I think that they met each other. I saw one creedal Christian talking on ward radio about how he liked the latter-day saints who participated the best because they treated him the best. Everyone seemed shocked when Jacob revealed that he was a latter-day saint at the end. So, I don't think that they talked about religion or strategy beforehand.

  30. ​@xeroclan9595 I disagree. Our doctrine is that animals are meant to experience joy as well as humans. As the Book of Mormon clearly lays out, you can't have true joy without experiencing its opposite. Not to mention progression and posterity. We say that even the earth itself is on a track of the fall to celestial glory. I would assume that animals are also.

  34. @Stopthecäq  oh, and telling Alex that he was a big fan might have indeed been strategic. But it also might have been that he didn't know if he'd get the chance to speak with Alex again. I'm torn on the issue since I'm half skeptic and half trusting. 😆

  36. ​ @Tasp-u7j  latter-day saints have a saying, " faith precedes the miracle. " We believe that the whole purpose of this life is to be tested. You can't be tested in an environment of sure knowledge. However, we know for sure that AFTER the trial of your faith, you can receive a sure knowledge if you seek it.

  37. Nah, I think that you're seeing it a bit off. Latter-day saints don't need converts. We are under commandment to preach the gospel to all the world. Whether or not you believe is up to you. But it's a responsibility we have to fulfill the great commission.
