The complete failure of the education system, coupled with the outright wild capitalism of money-hungry corporations, led to the rise to power in the US of fascists, an openly authoritarian leader sympathetic to all totalitarian world leaders from the Kim- Young to Putin. And all this poorly educated and poor part of America voted for an outright scoundrel bathing in gold, simply because he unabashedly lied to them, even though everyone knew he was lying. And they still voted for him. America has ceased to be a land of values, not for the Democrats, but for its catastrophic blindness and stupidity. I don't know if anything can be fixed after Trump.

Because Аmerica has accumulated vast intellectual resources from around the world, including immigrants. People enjoyed going to the US, and everyone was treated the same. In the long run, the US has benefited. And now educated people are leaving the US. Theodore Roosevelt, a Democrat, made America great. Trump Made America Nothing.
