Hahahaha, no. Allowing Russia to occupying would simply be condoning their actions. Ukraine already made a peace offer to Russia that if it withdrew to the pre war border, Ukraine would agree to peace and guarantee it won't try to join NATO.

@colindavis1496 No it ain’t. Ukraine may be losing but it hasn’t lost and clearly a tiresome to fight is just as much of a contributor as the nature of the fight. By your logic the USA would of won Vietnam. We didn’t, why? Because support for the war ceased. Ukraine gave Russia an out and the Russian people know it. Do tell me how long you really think they are going to tolerate their sons, father, and husbands dying for Putin’s absurd ambitions

@colindavis1496 Ukraine is currently losing and I never questioned that. I said the fight is far from over. Remember when Putin try to suggest his op would only take at most a few weeks? We’re almost 6 months in and Ukraine still hasn’t capitulated. And with the support of western nations it won’t, at least not in a very long time. Russia is sinking more cost than anything they would gain back in taking Ukraine. The world is now economically strangling them. Ukraine will survive when given the weapons to keep fighting. Churchill had a similar situation during WW2 yet we didn’t see Britain fall now did we?

@colindavis1496 Vietnam and Afghanistan have shown that invasions can be defeated even when it’s by some of the strongest invaders. Yet you are still going to act as if Ukraine can’t do the same thing? Despite having the entire western world backing them?
4
@colindavis1496 Once again no it hasn’t. Again, this war went far longer than what Russia predicted and as i mentioned time and time again, it isn’t the first time a lesser power has defeated a greater one through holding out. Otherwise again by your logic Britain should of surrendered to Hitler. Vietnam should of surrendered to the USA, Afghanistan should of surrendered to the Soviets. No matter which way you slice it, it is far from over.

Then get rid of Putin

@WalterWiperi here’s the thing most of the living cost struggles came from our internal issues not providing support to Ukraine.
3
@infocrypt hahaha not even close bud. Of course with the mindset u have I bet you are the same kind of person that would easily support Hitler with the same argument
2
@infocrypt nope far from it. I am glad for the US having independence. That’s the point, independence. Not trading one ruler for another. Crimea wasn’t part of Russia. Nor should it had been
2
@infocrypt Also I don’t think relying on a foreign army taking your land is what you would call fighting for independence. That would be the equivalent of part of the USA having states succeed just to rejoin Britain. It would make no sense. Both from a legal standpoint and from a pragmatic one
2
@infocrypt Donbas was always Ukrainian bud. Also how did he stop following the Minsk accord?
2
@infocrypt Also like I said if Donbas didn’t have a chance maybe they shouldn’t try a succession. By ur logic, should Britain and France had entered America to support the CSA?
2
@infocrypt do you have proof to back such accusations?
2
@infocrypt Also to note, Ukraine is not part of the USSR anymore as part of the agreement when the Soviet Union broke up, Ukraine would have full independence and autonomy as a separate nation. The ethic population isn’t relevant either as we have seen through men like Hitler how slippery of a slope that kind of logic is. Ukraine built its nationalism as a direct result of being antagonized by Russian forces. And nationalism is always going to increase if attempted successions or civil wars happen. It happened in the American and Russian civil war as well. Also I want to be clear I don’t condone many of Zelenski’s actions. While I do consider some of them justified given the situation both him and Ukraine were put in, I also acknowledge that plenty of bad was carried out by him. But once again, that doesn’t justify Russia’s actions as A. Putin is literally no better if not worse and B. Interfering with a civil war is just asking for that nation’s identity to hate and discriminate against anything associated with you. I mean do you think the USA wouldn’t had done the same if Britain and France sent troops to back the confederacy or take how the Soviets reacted to the aid the white army received. And as mentioned I would be more sympathetic for Donbas if their goal was actual independence instead of trading one ruler for another. Just saying as soon as we base ourselves justified for invading over a domestic issue, then that sets a very dangerous precedent. I doubt anyone would say we should invade Mexico over our issues with them or invade North Korea just because a Civil War started.

@bobdeverell um that doesn’t line up bud. Russia can’t be swimming in money if it can’t export to most nations. 🤦♂️
2
Um no they haven’t. Ukraine still has fight left and the longer it lasts the more Russia’s economy will hurt in the process
1
@colindavis1496 perhaps the Soviet Union should of surrendered to Hitler. The list goes on and on. Ukraine won’t surrender so as long as it still has the capacity to fight back. The death toll is the reality they are willing to accept if it means securing their freedom from Russian tyranny.
1
@bobdeverell the west may not be most nations but it is the biggest customer. Also depending on the nation it’s currency may not mean a lot.

Keep deluding yourself
1
@R73949 what do you mean WTF? Putin is a literal tyrant bud and is now causing terrible damage to Russia’s economy, people, and reputation.
1
@jejh600 what do u mean why? 🤦♂️
1
@jejh600 I mean let’s think. Tyrannical on his people, antagonizes his neighbors, undermines any democratic process in Russia, literally makes deals with Oligarchs at the expense of his own people, constantly threatens nukes for even one thing not going his way, invasion of Georgia, Crimea, and Ukraine. Need I go on?
1
@jejh600 How so?
