  2. Russia ain’t defending itself. It’s carrying a war of aggression based on believing it can just bully nations to get its way. Well I’m sorry, that’s not how that works. Putin is isolating himself from everyone, and even in spite of being willing to forgive his transgressions to an extent, he still refuses to leave Ukraine alone. Ukraine is quite literally the near Russia poked, kicked to the ground, and started stomping at since 2014.

  6.  @matrxmax  whether or not we refused to give funding back then isn’t relevant. Nor is their political stage. Parts of the country did have ultra nationalists who did target etho Russians. But that doesn’t change what occurs here. There are plenty of countries that committed evils internally, but that is not justification for invasion. And considering the suppression Russia themselves do, they are in no position to try to claim a moral high ground.

  8. Keep deluding yourself. Russia is losing more of its grip on Ukraine by the day. Putin fucked up and at this point has devolved Russia into a giant North Korea. Putin was the biggest mistake Russia ever had since Stalin.

Ever hear the saying use the carrot and the stick? The carrot is what makes people respect you, the stick is what fears you. The best nations properly use both. The reason Russia is where it is now is because it only knows how to use the stick
