  1. According to you. Lincoln did not want or need anymore unnecessary blood to be shed that only would have led to the war going on longer through Gorilla fighting. Not to mention the fact that at the time, the constitution had no statements in regard of for or against secession

  2. First of all, most Rich Americans at the time were white supremacists and slave holders. Even Grant owned a slave. As for traitor, you are aware the constitution had nothing to state secession as an act of treason or even illegal.

  3. As for his blunders, his only severe screw up was Gettysburg and no general had a perfect win record.

  4. Had Lee been hung it would only had made post war tensions worse and likely would have led to gorilla fighting years after the war. The fact of the matter was Lincoln did not want any unnecessary blood to be spilt.
