  6.  @smoke2730  I will agree that resource allocation is a problem but that has existed in both socialism and capitalism. Difference is capitalism is more excusable when it’s allocation is down to individuals and not a centralized power.

Blaming the weather or kulaks when the Soviets were already in power also is ignorant. And thirdly the Soviets chose to heavily arm. And did not do so under the blame of capitalists or are we going to ignore the Soviet failed invasion of Poland in the 20s

  8.  @smoke2730  so it was conveniently bad weather in the Soviet Union, China, North Korea, Vietnam, Libya, Cuba, Venezuela. All of them. Also trying to blame kulaks when the Socialists were in power is ignorant at best and deflecting at worst

  10.  @smoke2730  Also Venezuela only had sanctions placed on it because it Nationalized US companies in it. And I’m sorry, a country refusing to trade with it is not an excuse for Venezuela. Especially when A. They let their economy go to hell before then and B. Socialists tend to be the ones that subs I to shrinking market theories.

  14.  @smoke2730  Even when they did have a strong ally their economy went to shit. Do I need to discuss East Germany with you? Also lacking a strong ally is also a mood point considering China still exists bud and the irony is Yugoslavia when it did socialism despite not having “strong Allies” actually implemented their market socialism decently where it did help them a few decades. Of course it comes with admitting that Marxist Theory doesn’t work.

  16.  @smoke2730  having a good relationship doesn’t equal strong Allies. Also did u forget East Germany also did, as did Poland, and Romania. I mean they were all essentially Soviet puppets and yet their economies mostly failed while Yugo a nation that isolated itself from the Cold War ended up having the one socialist practice that actually worked for a time.
