@bagggers9796 problem is even the first one was going to explore the notion of changing the future with more direct set ups for Terminator 2 occurring. Also considering the line, “the future is not set, there is no fate but what we make for ourselves.” It was clear Cameron always intended for the timeline to be capable of being changed. In truth, as much as I love the first two movies, Terminator as a whole has never had the most logical time travel mechanics.
