  3. People are slow to react until the problems starts to affect them personally. You see this kind of thing happen a lot with liberals that are soft on crime but change after they or a loved one suffers from a violent crime.

Ironically a lot of the leftists that support this islamic nonsense are the first to start crying when women get treated as 2nd class citizens and LGBT programs get shut down by islamic 'councils'. They're the very lot that were pushing for more immigration from islamic countries in order that they could stroke their egos and tell everyone how 'kind' they were for helping less well off people.

  15. I'm going to say the awkward part out loud. It's because Islam has a particularly toxic side where it's ok to mistreat the kuffar (people who have no interest in becoming muslim, they see them as sub human worthless lives). To their ideology there's nothing wrong with using and abusing kuffar, but it is a sin to do it to another believer or someone who is genuinely interested in conversion. When this combines with toxic leftism of treating all minorities with cotton gloves it opens the doors to these terrible situations, where the authorities turn the blind eye in the name of political correctness.

The solution is to have illegal channel crossers and illegal migrants themselves, perform forced labour in order for them to generate wealth and repay the costs they caused to the british tax payer. If their friends and family at home, or a benefactor offers to pay their costs they can return home sooner. But otherwise they will work to pay for the administrative costs and the fare to travel back to their place of origin. And such a measure would also put off future illegal migrants from coming to the UK if all that awaits them is months, maybe years of unpaid work.

  19. 12 billion pounds pays the salary of 45,000 nurses that work for the NHS? Seriously that must be a mistake unless the average salary of a nurse is £800,000? In fact if every nurse of the 45,000 NHS nurses earned £60,000 (which is considerably more than what 9/10 nurses earn) the bill would still £2.7 billion, way short of the 12 billion pounds.
