  1. I'm going to say the awkward part out loud. It's because Islam has a particularly toxic side where it's ok to mistreat the kuffar (people who have no interest in becoming muslim, they see them as sub human worthless lives). To their ideology there's nothing wrong with using and abusing kuffar, but it is a sin to do it to another believer or someone who is genuinely interested in conversion. When this combines with toxic leftism of treating all minorities with cotton gloves it opens the doors to these terrible situations, where the authorities turn the blind eye in the name of political correctness.
