  5.  @robertluceon3461  Ah ok, but your right it's important not to think critically as a soldier. You become part of a machine. I hope that popular militia that represents it's communities will become the future of security but sadly it's not that simple really. Humans have a tendency to fight, if not for the greed or manipulations of the elites it is to meet basic needs when resources run low. i.e. those people have the lush green pastures (or replace green pastures with whatever important resource), lets take it as it will ensure our community can grow food/have energy etc! For years to come! Denis Villeneuves Dune film is out soon btw! The series of books explores these very topics quite a lot. The problem of power.

  10. I think it depends on the enemy. If they were people like me i would feel more reluctant too. But if they were maniacs who wanted to kills us all, i'd make every shot count, to the best of my ability at least. Say for example if you were a Kurd, Yazidi or even a Christian having to fight vs people like ISIS. Or from the position of jewish fighters having to take on incoming Waffen SS in the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising of 1943. Or a Chinese fighter having to face of the Imperial Japanese Army at Shanghai.
