In fact, there was a great series made by BBC once of Claudius.Which was based on the book, I Claudius by Robert Graves. Guess what Robert Graves also wrote? Count Belisarius (which was about Belisarius and Justinian). It was also an excellent book. If they could make I Claudius into a series then they (or HBO) could also make Count Belisarius into one.

Ryan The Roman Maybe, the title has it's merits in that they retook Rome and still used Latin as the official language of the empire. But calling Justinians reign the last romans is a bit unfair to later byzantine/east romans who were still legally Roman (and had many brave and noble characters - as well as villains) Unless the series plans to cover the entire history of the eastern empire up to the last emperor who died fighting the Turks in 1453. Then the title last romans would seem fair to me.

66_greenrunner_77 The Empire Strikes back! lol jk :) I also think Byzantium could be a good name. Including the sub header it would be, Byzantium - The second Rome.

+Jules4878 Wow that would really be something.

I love the gameplay of Armello but it might be for everyone. However i think it's one of those games that with a bit of perseverance, some of the people that initially didn't like it that much, can end up liking it.

+BlueSugarMaple It's great. I've read some of Justinians digest, its truly a massive work but gives insight into late roman life.

Yi was awesome but i think Nelson was the better admiral. Nelson had to fight against superior foes, face it, medieval japan was always a bit crappy when it came to sea warfare. It tried to compensate by big fleets and numbers which isnt really the best way of going about it. Nelson however had to fight the French who had very modern ship designs, easily on a par with the British ships. And they had good quality naval training schools also, the french tried to understand naval warfare scientifically. Nelson still beat them. The spanish too had a fairly good navy (though it wasnt as modern as british and french ships, but it did have the Santisima Trinidad which on its own was the biggest and most powerful ship of that time.
