Theres a definate double standard that doesnt favour the males. If i were to have a pocket pussy i'd be seen as some kind of a deviant. But if a woman has a vibrator it's perfectly fine.

The title makes it sound like if Horowitz stopped being a leftist recently.

A republican seems more like a center-right leaning right winger to me.

yet we have 1050 likes to 88 dislikes. A pretty good ratio if you ask me.

Josh Meakings Not quite. The middle east at least is a bad example because those lands were conquered by the Roman Empire when it was still pagan. Hundreds of years later the Roman Empire converted to Christianity and those lands became Christian. Christianity was actually always more popular in the eastern half of the empire than in the west were they more stubbornly clinged onto paganism for a while. But technically, Christianity never out and out conquered the middle east in the way that muslims did, but the pagan romans and prior to them, greeks (under Alexander) did conquer. Later, the crusaders conquered a kingdom in the so called holy lands, but they were supposed to give it back to the eastern (byzantine) christians but they didn't and the byzantine empire (otherwise known as the east roman empire) was no longer strong enough to do anything about it.

We'd be happy to offer Joe The Pharoah legit political asylum if things start to turn ugly not just with the government but with the dangerous egyptian muslim activists.

The fairest way would have been to house the syrian refugees in makeshift villages in eastern Turkey. If Turkey complains about having to take on all the burden the international country should send resources/money to help. The most obvious advantage is that they are nearer to their home country for after the war and it will be easier to send them back for the reconstruction. The other thing is things like Cologne would probably not have happened and less pressure on social housing in the western countries seeing that they would be housed in new makeshift villages not taking from existing social housing stock. And the logistics of sending over a million people home would be super difficult.

Is that your girlfriend? ;)

+Emperor Nero Heraclius beat the Persians. But the muslims were a threat even before the seljuk turks, they even reached Constantinople.
1
Harpal Sahota The western half of the Roman Empire fell to huns and germanic kingdoms but the eastern half survived and remained strong for a time. Why didnt the eastern empire try save the western empire, some wonder? Well, they did try under Leo I. A great fleet and army was sent to retake the western north africa provinces and hand it back to the western emperor but the fleet got burned down at port in Carthage.

The far right wing would impose on people who they could breed/marry/mix with in order to preserve the races due to their fear they original race groups will disappear. But there will always be some white people more drawn to other whites, and likewise with other races so whilst mixing will probably increase over time it won't get rid of the races entirely. But even if that's the way it goes tough, if it's what the people choose to do. Laissez faire is king when it comes to they can date, marry or mix. I could understand if people were being forced to race mix, that would be terrible, and they would have a point, but don't be ridiculous, no-one is trying to impose that.

Heh, ghosts. I bet most of those 42% are women, they love the ghosts, astrology, shoes and shopping ;) As for reincarnation, a perfectly reasonable assumption. It's unlikely, but you never know, we are all matter and energy, it changes form. Life might be experienced again but we wont be the same being.

Atheist Muslim? Nonsensical. Atheist arab is closer to the mark.
1
+Evi Tthought My bad, it's that a lot of muslim countries the people refer to themselves as arab even in north african countries when in reality they are arabized berbers. As for Ali Rivzi he is pakistani, so i should have checked first.

America is a great country but be careful of exceptionalism, it has been exploited in a bad way in the past. i.e. 'we don't like that other countries government as it's too "insert reason here" so we are going to replace it. And it's against international law but we are exceptional, so it doesn't matter.' Now that's a shady path to go down. But as long as it's not infringing on the other countries sovereignty it's fine, desirable even if America wants to do things differently and for it's own interests first.

Actually Jedi stopped being a religion and became a science in Phantom Menace when it was revealed that the mysterious 'force' was merely a microscopic life form called 'midichlorian'. Lucas then realised it was a bad move and midichlorians were never mentioned again.

It's loosely based on Gnostic Dualism and Buddhism.

I dont agree with Rubin on everything but he's an ok guy. Open, friendly and honest. Not afraid to stand for what he believe in.
1
Also Lucas liked Japanese history, the term 'Jidai' from 'Sengoku Jidai' probably stuck with him.

There's even a valid left wing anti EU argument.

When it comes to emotions not much when it comes to reality a lot. Will a man, a tramp in the street love god and hate the material?

I like She-ra. As a little kid i was into He-Man and then my sister got into She-Ra and so did her friends. And then the unthinkable happened! Me and my friends who had all these He-Man toys and my sister and her friends who were into She-Ra had some mixed play sessions when before that we used to avoid each other as if we had the plague!
1
I kid of course. I don't like people taking marriage lightly however. People who just jump in it kind of piss me off.
1
They ran out of Houri's so he got 72 Houthis

having sex with your own sister is way worse than a couple of gay people being gay. How can you even compare that?
1
That accounts for yourself but people are different, surely you can understand that simple concept?
1
As a straight guy I wouldn't really have a problem with a bi girlfriend seeing lots of other ladies, particularly if they were also attractive! Providing... Providing that I don't end up being cast aside and ignored! If she then went off with other guys however! That's it! Foot comes down, the relationship Is over!

Let people get divorced whenever they want. Provided they forever after live out their lives with the title 'oath-breaker' lol! Nothing worse than an oath-breaker hehe.

5 kids is practically a brood mare to me! Though some women are happy with that role, others would rather not but have to stay quiet, as we see in arab or african countries today. But otherwise i agree with what you say. I think the cases of 13-14 yr old girls getting married off to older men was more for aristocratic class only which was a very small proportion of the population. It was often a way to seal an alliance between great or influential families. I think peasant women (the majority) were likelier to marry for love. Though i could be wrong on that.
