@aTruster While you are right that suicide to escape troubles and responsibilities is generally a cowardly thing, i feel that we don't know enough about the circumstances of this to make a harsh judgement.

@kraspeed not everyone who dies deserves attention and respect. Gary Speed? why not? He was not bad man. But the evil people out there should be slain and desecrated. They are out there, hurting people. Right now.

I've always known of Gary Speed since i was a youngster. I'm sure he's knocked a few goals against my team from what i recall. While not exactly a world shaking player, he was a good player and a great professional. This really is a weird one. I'm not blaming his wife here, but only she and those closest to him will have some sort of an insight as to why he did this.

@aTruster he may have had issues that got out of control. Like a condition that affects the bodies chemistry. If well medicated or even in other circumstances it is easy to hide. Yes the will can often overcome these problems but not in all cases. It is unfair to compare one with such a condition to one without it.
