@KillerWhaleSFl the worst thing about the kid was when he was caught out, it wasnt a case of 'you got me' it was a case of resistance, putting the workers position in jeopardy and undermiming it for fair paying passengers, especially those who struggle to pay for it. As it has gotten ridiculous since privatisation.

@itsCARLDOUGLAS if the kid followed the ticket inspectors instructions, he wouldnt have been malhandled.

@KillerWhaleSFl it is unfair on paying customers and workers for one to travel for free. If i had my way however, the rail system would be nationalised and much more affordable and run on a non profit basis with a modest pay cap and no bonus bounties for the head directors.

@anyfekinnamewilldo why would taxes come into it? It would make the money back from fares but without profits coming into the equation. Unions are weak now anyway.

@anyfekinnamewilldo centrally administered isnt necessarily a bad thing anyway. As long as all records are made public. So we can see how managers spend the money/resources allocated to them.
