Bat poo, otherwise known as 'Guano' is actually a good source of fuel and an excellent fertilser. They should build some sort of artificial cave for them in the countryside out of town. Obviously the bat's arent going to immediatley be like 'awesome they built us a home, lets go guys' but overtime they'll eventually find it and settle a colony there and perhaps establish a mutually beneficial co-existance with the farmers. (Theres a word for that, when two species mutually benefit each other but i can't remember what it is!) edit i just remembered, it's symbiosis!
