  1. It just goes to show that the 'post industrial society' heralded by those who support globalisation is a myth. You can't just ship all production to the third world and think the consumer society can sustain itself magically. You need a waged class of workers to sustain consumerism and jobs like retail/admin and I.T is only going to provide for a fraction of a growing population.
