  2.  @ingfig1  We don't really know what went on before but it does appear they did a bad job of raising it. Kicking the cat in the butt would typically be uncalled for but I think most people would react that way in the spur of the moment if it came to defending their baby. Certain people should never have pets. I've owned three pets in my lifetime, a girl cat that died at 19, and two males. One that died at 17 yrs old (human years of course) and a siamese that died at 14. All were very friendly and I never had any problem with them. The males were neutered though.
