  1. Here's my 50 cents (as the americans say).... Derrick Bird probably had an undiagnosed mental condition, theres a massive stigma to depression and he probably had a form of that, he kept it secret to avoid the stigma and tried to cope until he couldnt anymore and exploded. Unless we start to change our views on depression in an open manner, this kind of thing will probably happen again.
