  2. I think a lot of people think turn based rpg = jrpg style turn based battles where the combat happens in a separate mode/phase. But in BG3 the environment of the game map in integral to the combat itself, I think most people unfamiliar with that kind of gameplay will appreciate the difference after playing and getting used to it.

  13. We need better consumer protection laws. The boomers didnt really care for it with regard to digital ownership as it didnt affect them very much but Gen X onwards it affects us a lot. And funnily enough Gen X is coming into power now, most of the new generation of politicians are Gen X now. So hopefully they'll be the first to act on this, provided they dont become massive sell outs, which is possible.

  14. The muslim speaker mentions injustices suffered across the world by muslims being much greater than the deaths of those three girls and he is right but misses an important thing. Those are issues for those countries and regions to resolve, its not or shouldnt be britains business. The rioting britons on the other hand are tryying to tackle internal problems in their own country, they may not be going about it the right way but at least they are keeping to their own neck of the woods.

I prefer the democrats on Ukraine but i prefer Trump/Vance on trying to build a more national centric form of capitalism that would benefit the blue collar working class. The globalism that the democrats favor overly empowers wall street and wall street does not always have it's host countries interests at heart.

  21. I think it's worse than 30 years ago in the sense of job security and housing costs, whether renting or buying. But in terms of affordable technology it's better. But the gap between rich and poor has grown a lot and it's contributed towards a more fractured society. Also bear in mind when boomers where young they could actually leave school with no particular good grades, go into work in a factory and actually make a good living, provided they were diligent and punctual workers. You could sustain a family of 4 with just one low tier job, buy a car and a house. Take the family on a nice holiday once a year. While nowadays it's common for both parents to work and still struggle to make ends meet and it causes a lot of tension in homes, one of the reasons we see more divorce. I think people are generally more stressed than what they were.

  25. I like the game myself, got it recently it has had a few tweaks and patches of late. While it's not as good as dark souls i'm still finding it an interesting world to explore and conquer.

  26. I think it's an enjoyable game now though it does still fall short of what i initially hoped the game would be. It's not the sandboxy open ended Cyberpunk game full of possibility i had once hoped for. It's the story of V but it's an interesting journey in a well crafted world. With some interesting missions and enjoyable action (since 2.0 which improves the combat and driving quite a lot).

  30. I've enjoyed the game, i bought it just recently for PS5. I think it's been polished up a bit since launch. Though i went from initially loving it to being annoyed by it to liking it again once i was more familiar with it's quirks and systems.

  34. It's a rotten sub culture. I prefer every other music to hip hop/rap. From classical to african folk music, from choir music to country. Hip hop rap while able to produce good sounds and songs is marred by toxic values which contributes to toxic behaviour. The biggest virtue that is glaringly missing from it is humility which is perhaps the most important virtue. Whether you are at the top or the bottom we should all be more humble and respectful to one another.

  38. Please make Planetside 3 or something similar (a large scale shooter) but set in WW2. And no i don't mean War Thunder with its 16 or 32 player server. I mean 5000 player servers per zone in a big virtual war across a planet thats divided into zones but has a total of tens of thousands of players.

  42. We are under no obligation to take them in we havent lost the war to be forced to carry such a burden. However the collective west needs to keep its nose out of other peoples business, which is why i find it ridiculous they keep putting the Israel Palestine problem on the agenda in Britain. We need to just stay out of it, stay out of Pakistan India, Kashmir problem, Bangladesh etc we need to let those regions sort out their problems on their own. And america should cut the 10 billion plus dollars they send to israel every year and the 5 billion to Egypt.

  45. I do worry for the frame rate myself. Particularly for consoles and PC's that are not top of the line. I'm not convinced after DD2 that RE Engine is that well suited for open world.
