  1. Albanians are sympathetic because 1) Albania has a muslim history hence more empathy 2) Albanians know the refugees are not coming to stay in Albania but passing through, thus it is easy to help and provide for if it's just for a short term, compared to setting people up to stay, possibly for life. Had it been Christians fleeing, and wanting to settle in Albania instead of other countries then I believe the Albanian people may not be quite as welcoming.
