You get a similar situation in the west, only that it tends to be closer to 38 plus years. While in China it seems to be closer to 28 plus years. Also it doesn't help women that when younger they can be too picky and all too willing to dump an often genuine boyfriend when they feel they can do better. Only to end up in the 'left over' group if those new relationships don't work out. You would think that Chinese men with regard to the countries gender imbalance wouldn't be quite so fussy though. Maybe it will change a bit over time.
