Lenny has made the journey from a cheeky but bright and witty working class kid, abilities that made him a good comedian, to a sanctimonious middle class woketivist. And like most woketivists in 2022 misses the mark on most issues.

@allanlumutenga4901 Despite of that, Africa remains one of the most mineral/resource rich continents but the problem today is corruption and an elite class (but of native people this time) who want to plunder the countries wealth the same way the colonials did.

@David_Bower That's a myth you're only contributing towards what's essentially a pyramid scheme where each generation has to be bigger than the last or the whole rotten edifice comes down once it reaches a point it cannot be sustained anymore. Better to take a short term hit and once that less births generation gets old in the future we'll have a smaller amount of old people to look after and it will contribute towards more benign conditions for younger people at that time. There will be cheaper housing too due to oversupply and that will create the conditions where people can afford to have large families again so it would balance itself out if we just leave it without interfering so much with immigration to make up any shortfalls.

@grahammcdowall5019 To be fair I haven't really seen his stuff in ages since I was a kid. But back in the late 80's and early 90's he was on TV a lot I remember finding it funny then. Perhaps not so much as an adult, I also imagine it would have gotten stale after a while. While humor has evolved quite a lot since then. Becoming infused with a lot more cynicism and edge, which I don't see as a bad thing.

@JohnChilton1 As mentioned before I haven't really seen much of his content since the 80's and early 90's when i was still a kid. There could be an element of rose tinted glasses in my memories, as I used to enjoy it then but it would probably fall flat these days, thinking about it.

Apart from the one incident when they attacked a mosque on day 1 of the riots, havent most of the protests and violence been directed against police? Regardless though, i dont agree on attacking anyone who hasnt done anything, let alone a group of people as a whole as i dont believe in collective punishment. But the protestors are upset at the multiculturalism experiment that our governments embarked on 30 years ago, and the mass migration problem which has gotten really bad recently but actually started to become a problem quite long ago. As its led to less social cohesion and created new problems and dangers. Working class people who have seen their lives worsen the last few decades, feel like their opinion gets ignored, they never voted for any of this. It got dictated from the elites at the top of society.

The concept is so ridiculous I actually think Queers for Palestine is a PsyOp to make pro Palestinians seem ridiculous and encourage regular neutral people to get turned off from supporting other pro palestinian protest groups. (i.e. neutrals may think: I feel bad for Palestinians but i aint joining that protest and marching alongside the Queers for Palestine clowns).

@lv7603 You think that things like Queers for Palestine would fly in places like Communist China, Vietnam, Cuba or the old Soviet Union? There's a big difference between extreme liberal 'progressive' nonsense of the west and the authoritarian statist socialist governments of the non western communists. I'm not saying that the old school communists are good by the way it wasn't. But you have to admit there's a big difference when you compare these two groups.
