  2.  @sharsasuke01  The sahara is a pretty huge range though, almost as big as the USA so yes we can say in confidence there were black people in the sahara thousands of years before the arabs and islam took hold over north africa. But were there black people in what is now Morocco at that time? Probably, but I don't think it would have been very many, prior the the age of Rome and Carthage. Carthage in particular through it's explorers and traders (they even had a trading post in Cornwall, Britain) would have helped to connect those lands, paving the way for the more intrepid individuals who wanted to travel north.
