  2. Kaldmm Mmmm Around the years 800AD to 900AD Islam was dynamic and forward thinking. But the turning point was sack of Baghdad by Mongols. After that islamic culture never recovered, it stagnated/decayed.

  3. Kaldmm Mmmm After the sack of baghdad (1258AD) Islamic culture never really recovered, it marks the end of the islamic golden age. After that it stagnated whilst europe progressed and advanced. Though the Ottoman empire was militarily strong for a time, and a power, there wasnt really much in the way of scientific progress anymore.
