  1. The problem is that GB News is owned by investment companies and that makes them more beholden towards globalized capitalism over the fight for national sovereignty. They don't want people who are going to rock the boat too much, if for example Britain were to go in a more national protectionist economic system it may favour British people including smaller businesses but it could hurt the financial bottom line for larger companies that have more dealings internationally.

  2. The owners of GB News don't wish for real change they just want to profit off the peoples discontent. To become the British peoples outlet to grumble and complain, hear points of view they can agree with. While at same time maintain the status quo. If a presenter is going in too heart felt and could potentially stir people up in such a way that it could sow seeds of change, it's time to let them go. Now before i sound overly harsh I want to say that I do believe most people who work for GB News do have their heart in the right place. But the financial owners do not.
