@perrywinkle5000 its when you get the gap between rich and poor which you see a lot in neo liberal economies. Im not saying this is right, but the people at the bottom look at all the cool stuff the wealthier people have and feel, "I want that" they dont have the means or the capability to get that stuff legally so they make the rational (if morally bankrupt) decision to choose the path of crime. And another thing that exacerbates things even further is hard drugs and drug addiction they get desperate to feed.
