  1. ***** Religion? Sure it can have racist aspects. But i thought we were talking of other things. A lot of modern racism as we know it has its roots in the slave trade. Thats why you see it more in formerly high slave zones. But many people that arent actually racist, that get called racist are proven not to be such as TJ Kirk/Amazing atheist recently.

  2. Theres a bigger proportion though. Still a minority of the support base though. Most are people sick of PC culture or wanting to shake the system.amongst other reasons. Whats funny though is that a large portion of Hilary support base has similar views 25-35 percent, at times. Which isnt that much less.

  3. Roger Sullivan I'm of the left but most these modern based problems come down to class not race. Racism still exists in places though, but poor white people share similar problems. Were our current society to improve the lot of the working class you would find a lot of the problems faced by poor people of all backgrounds will start to dissipate. Crime is higher in blacks not for any racial reason but because they got stuck in poor urban areas, at the time of full employment things were getting better but neo liberal economics brought things backwards. White people who lived in similar locales end up being in a similar predicatment. Calling out people for using bad jargon isnt go to fix our problems but giving people work and housing will. Real Socialism of the old left has a lot to admire over this new left direction of a bourgeois that just wants to feel contented at its own success without feeling guilty that they are part of the problem.

  5. Roger Sullivan It's been represented a bit unfairly. Yeah there was a racist/nationalist type they call them 'littlle englanders' in the ranks of brexit supporters but for the most part it was centre right types wanting to gain full sovereignty alongside people of the left, like me who realised that the influx of polish and portuguese and other eu workers ruined the lives of many working class. I for one supported the EU, but once i saw its effect, the creation of the zero hour contract and people who left the benefit system to join the work system, and end up homeless for it, i lost faith and decided to vote brexit to teach them a lesson.
