And I haven't even tackled the other side of all the employees that work for said corporations. Point is one can't anonomize the problem away.

  5. The bearings sound like the problem. Going slower just delays a failure. The other sensors (acoustic, etc) should have given an earlier warning. Plus how maintenance is being done on our rail infrastructure should be discussed.
