  9. Hi, firstly, thanks for the kind words. I have to admit it is never easy for the working class anywhere I have been. That was the reason why I left my country and tried to make something for my family. I remember when I came here 14 Years ago, it was definitely easier from my perspective, but I guess I was only young and had no family to take care of. Now I have a Wife and a boy, and I just cannot imagine what it would take to take care of them if we would just come lately to the UK. The only way I could afford to live here with my family is that I met a lot of people and gain some experience in the Construction sector. I think crime is the biggest factor that makes me think about moving out of the UK, I just cannot imagine my boy getting influenced by the youngest generation. We can look after him only as much as we can...

  11. Many people from East Europe are moving back to their countries because the gap in Living standards is too thin nowadays. When we were moving here 10-15 Years Ago, it was a massive difference between UK and East Europe, but it is not anymore

  14. Can't blame you for thinking about moving out, I have had the same idea lately. Regarding the lifestyle back in our countries, I am a bit sceptical. Definitely, the difference in Income and Living costs is getting thinner and thinner every year comparing the UK and East Europe, but I was in Poland 2 Years Ago when people were telling me, " Man, Poland now is completely different, we are earning good money etc." Just to find out that, in fact, people earn more nowadays, they are buying houses and making families, but at what cost? Interest in their house mortgages is extremely high. People work a lot of hours to afford to pay off mortgages, and prices for Groceries are still high compared to their income.Saying that I am not trying to say do not come back, just to check yourself before you make any plans to come back as you know, " The grass is greener..." Wish you all the best

It's good that people are showing the reality of how it is, so at least people who are planning to move to the UK at least know a bit of it. No one forcing anyone to do anything, but We always can have a free conversation right?

  24. @ It is sad that Native Londoners are forced to move out from London due to prices and wages. Trust me, I know something about it myself. I migrated 14 Years ago from my country, and although I love it to bits, I just wanted a better life standard as I wish to develop skills and learn new things. Can't say it was a bad time in the UK, mainly because I learned the English language here and got a lot of my professional skills in the UK. These last couple of years were just hard because I can definitely see the decline of the UK. After reading Your comment, Scotland seems a really good place to live if you don't wanna move relatively too far and don't wanna learn new languages

  34. I can't really agree. I would agree with the first part, tho. I believe there is a design to keep people poor, as soon as you are able to save something, there is always something from the government to pay, some tax, some bill or other thing. I find it really strange that every time when I get some savings, I cannot use them because there is always something popping out of nowhere to pay. In the Second part, I cannot really agree. Through the last 14 years, I have met a lot of people from different skills and backgrounds. I know at least 2 Mechanics, and in fact, they are getting paid well, but only if they work overtime and really push themself to the limit. Otherwise, it's less than 40k per year, and if you have a family, that is simply not enough now to pay your bills and live comfortably. Me myself I have a pretty well-paid job. Construction is not easy, but it is well-paid. We are really humble with money but We are still struggling. We get long, we can pay our bills and he has food on the table, but thats'it. I am a person who really believes that it is always up to me, and that's why I am really trying to change something in my life, but the part about economics in this video had a purpose to show people who are planning to come to the UK. (Maybe I just did not clarify that) But for people who earn minimum wage or a bit more, it has to be extremely hard in these times.

  41. Oh, definitely, mass immigration has a massive impact. I guess illegal immigration has an even worse impact, tho. I know many people who have migrated here from Europe in the last 10 years, and 90% of them have had a positive impact on society, paying taxes etc.but i also know many people who decided to go back to their countries in the last 3 years because there is no point to stay in the UK anymore for them. It is sad to see because I have been planning to build my future in the UK.

All my time, I lived in Bedford, so I can only speak from his perspective, but even 4 Years ago when I moved to 2 Bed flat I am living in currently I was paying £775, now 4 Years later it is £1100, some may say is not as much but you have to understand its middle of town with junkies all over the place and crime happening every week behind my window. I have to disagree with Housing with Cheap labourers because if we take about minimum wage and people coming from other countries to fulfil these jobs, such as warehouse workers, cleaners, etc., these people do not cause high house demands because they cannot afford normal houses, very often this person leaving in rented rooms or the cheapest shared houses because they cannot afford to rent anything normal( when they are on the minimum wage) I know because I have been there and until I had increased my skills and get a bit better English language I couldn't afford even to rent a Studio Flat. So I would agree that people coming from Europe fulfil Minimum Wage Jobs, but Minimum Wage would exist with or without them.

Yes, there are definitely places where the landlord pays off the properties, so he doesn't have to adjust the rent price compared to the mortgage price, the landlord can think that he will keep the price lower because the rentier is a really good person and looks after the property. People who live in the UK cannot see this differently as much because they see it every day, and it is just a minor decline every day, so it's not as visible, but as someone who moved out and came back, it has to be a shock. What do you do for a living? if you don't find it too expensive? I guess you have to make over 80k to live in London, and you are still happy with the prices. Without even exaturating just 2 days ago i have been at work, really good area, new housing development when houses are 400k+, and we have been stopped because there is a guy chasing with the machete. I do wanna think about what gonna happen when he is 13-15 Years old, spending all day in school with the other kids. We can only look after them as much as we can because we have to work all the hours of the day to afford to raise them. It is a vicious cycle.

  476. Hi, First, congrats on moving to Japan (although it was 20 years ago). Whenever I go on holiday, I think oh man, it is nice here. I have everything I need, I could stay here for life, but only because I am on holiday, and I cannot feel what people feel who have to work to make me feel this way. There are people who work hours over hours for the minimum wage to keep people happy when they are on holiday. Even when I visited my country 2 Years ago, I thought it was not as bad actually I could see my friends buying houses and building families, but then when I finally had a chance to meet with them, eventually I found out they had been constantly working and even hard to find time to catch up ( due to massive Interest Increase in the last year on their Houses mortgages). I am not saying that it is bad back there, All I am saying is we always will see a different world when we only visit the place Good luck in Japan

If you compare Poland to the UK in 2025, I would say Poland is winning due to weather, culture, people, safety etc. When I moved out from Poland in 2012, It was completely opposite that was my reason to move out.   545. Hi Robby, Even if I try to book tickets for next Christmas as soon as they release them, they still will be a high price. (We always prebook them as soon as they are released) Of course, they will be cheaper but still a high price if you have to book 3 Tickets Both Ways. I am trying my best to protect my family and have some income saved every year, etc. It's just getting harder and harder, really. I am the lucky one because I chose an industry in which I can develop skills and get paid more and more every year. I just can think of people who actually have to work on minimum wage and how they can afford to live in the UK. Or people who are planning to move to the UK without any specific skills or English at all. There is simply no way for survival for these people.
