I definitely appreciate all the effort you guys put into getting an authentic, everyday people opinion on these issues. The government and media often skews the information for political reasons so it's nice to hear a sample of everyday people's opinions. That's interesting about how China is trying to make 김치 (gim-chi) sound like it's their dish; calling it 'pao cai'. I wasn't aware of this. I am aware of how Japan has their iteration called 'kimuchi' and Koreans have been upset about that. So to hear that China is doing this must make a lot of Koreans furious as it'd be distorting history. I'm also aware about the dust/pollution blowing from China to South Korea. So on top of that, talk of COVID originating from China, claiming that 한복 (han-bok) is China's, and the 'pao cai' situation... I am not surprise that South Korea has a very bad image of China. China is attempting to distort the history & the culture of South Korea so naturally people would be furious about that. With that said though, a lot of these kinds of situations naturally would make people dislike/hate the entirety of a country. But the core problems originates from the governments and the media. For the most part, the actual people of the country is fine. We're all human beings trying to make a living. It's just the leaders and policy makers that cause all of these problems.
