  1. Every country has its norms . I wouldn't say eating dog meat is a normal thing and it's becoming even less of a thing. Like South Korea, some (very few) still do consume dog meat, but it's usually in the rural parts of the nation. Also it's not like fancy breeds of dogs are being consumes. From what I understand it's a very particular kind. Again, it's not common and it's becoming less of of an already uncommon practice. Those few that do are usually from rural parts of the country.
