I 100% agree that Disney has been less than ideal with their movies and TV shows lately. Trying to force 'diversity' for political correctness reasons IMO seems racist; like they're trying to not be racist. If they wanted to be more accurate to the source material, they should've a Danish actress for Ariel. It'd be like if Princess Tiana (The Princess and the Frog) was casted as a Caucasian female actress under the guide of diversity reasons. People would have a lot of things to say about that. I haven't seen the movie but I did hear that some things were a bit weird like Flounder looking too much like a real fish. Overall Disney is making decisions that ultimately make them less than ideal (to say the least).
