ASPD isn't a disease and Psychopathy isn't a mental disorder but a fancy greek word for a sum of developmental particularities that aren't of any social benefit.

Which they do, some people think they're experts because they watch YT (especially when video not provided by real scholars with enough knowledge and experience in the field) Welcome to the freedom of speech with the new medium social media where everyone is allowed to poop.

Sociopaths (people with ASPD) have at least a basic emotional setting and can have low levels of empathy. Diagnosis is a guideline based on statistic majority and set criteria, some criteria allowing a certain spectrum. It is not only about your setting but also your behavioural output.

@11_11_girl I had developmental issues as baby/in infancy*. My capacity to verbalize and form phrases wasn't developing according to norm. Besides, I had motoric issues and great digestive problems. Sometimes I suffered from psy mutism, too; then I wouldn't verbalize, not even vocalize at all, sometimes for months in a row. I also avoided eye contact and called myself by the name given, I didn't use "I". I have that stare they mention in the video. Mostly while I'm 1) gone in the inside world or 2) when I scent danger I drop into a state of hyper vigilance that blocks the blinking in my case. Which usually lasts for ~3-5min; rarely up to 10-15min according to witnesses. People fear my stare. Anyway: never said a whole, grammatically correct sentence until age 5.5yrs. Then suddenly one morning spilled a whole and quite long phrase... more kept coming and I can even drop into states of logorrhea. Consider seeing a professional but beware of labeling. Some infants catch up later. _ sensitive content [* My bio mom tried to abort me at gest. age ~30weeks which induced my birth. She abandoned me right away and after months of treatment in hospital I was placed in an orphanage. In my case, these circumstances probably caused my neurodevelopmental impairment.]

There is barely any isolated "real sociopath". People with ASPD mostly have a comorbid image of disorder.

But I agree that some appear to be bragging about it and that this can indicate narcissistic traits. (Or fake self diagnosis of sickos thinking it's cool to label yourself with it)

@simonhansen5038 but what if a dysfunctional setting just develops, without an impact (≈"something has happened to you")? Why do so many believe that everybody was born with the same "perfect settings"? So many disorders suggest otherwise. There are plenty of errors happening in "natural development" also when you look at other disorders than mental disorders.
