@polendisco4132 same happened to me. Because I proved a person wrong on a topic, he suddenly attacked my english. I replied: "English is the 4th foreign language I had learned, I speak 6 quite well and understand 8 and studied latin. You?" I am a person of multicultural background and am not the strongest at switching between similar languages properly. The reply was: "This is the Internet, we speak english here! Learn it properly before commenting. Btw, latin is not a language but a sum of different spanish dialects, nice try." 😮... 😂 Excuse me? 😅

@MissTwoSetEncyclopediaIn a roundabout, people on bycicles have to place themselves in the middle of the car lane, many bike riders don't do that; and you never ever pass a car on its right side in a roundabout but remain in the row, in their lane. Sorry it happened to a relative of yours. Many trucks have additional mirrors for deadspots nowadays. Hope such accidents can be prevented more and more; roundabouts are a good solution to keep traffic flow, but only with the participants respecting the rules and being vigilant and cooperative. __________ People: EYES OFF YOUR SCREENS & co WHILE PARTICIPATING IN TRAFFIC!!!

@polendisco4132 the best to me was still a US tourists group in a camp asking me: "How come you just spoke Canadian with the Canadian group, you told us you were from Sweden!" (Yes, they did the classic Sweden/Switzerland thing, and they didn't even know that their neighbours, the Canadians, have a great french/le québécois speaking culture. As if coming from somewhere meant you speak one language, anyway... neverending stories there) I never tell Americans where I am from originally, most wouldn't know that country exists. 😅 But hey, to get this straight - I am not perfect, either, recently finally learned what countries the UK includes, and that Nairobi was a country, not just the name of a desert, among other basic things about our world. 🙈 Have a good life, cheers.
