  1. I dated a swiss guy who drove 260 km/h (Audi A4) on a highway in Croatia. After a tiny nap, I realized he was speeding and told him to slow down. He wouldn't listen, so I said: "Leave me at the next resting point, we're done." A police officer stopped him some minutes later (undercover highway patrol, in a Porsche), he got away with a ridiculous fine, totally affordable. In his native country (CH) he would certainly have lost his license for...like...forever? Fun fact, he was a high positioned responsable for safety protocol in industrial production but drove recklessly as a f*. In my opinion, people should also pass other tests than driving ability solely. Or: there should be mandatory repetition tests which would refresh memory...
