@nomar5spaulding 1. A captain cannot give an order to assault a neutral (by this point) nation, nor give the word for a fleeeet of capitol ships to open fire 2. What definition of war crimes are you on about? A war of aggression is I do believe #2 on the 4 points of the Nuremberg trials, Pearl Harbor was an assault on a neutral nation without a declaration of war. The people trying not to be defeated, but let me end off with a final point: if it was so justifiable and not at all problematic, why wasn’t it publicized to the British public who had some desire to sue for peace because they thought the war was over?
