@duckygaming3536 who killed them all?
The USN, not the RN, just like the IJA, the Chinese and Americans killed them, not the British, just because they had a few engagements doesn’t mean they’re responsible for it, they get a teensy bit of credit for everyone they killed, but as an actual branch of the military, they were both destroyed by America, and for the army, China

Ricardo VS lol okay Guderian, any more myths you want to peddle?
‘Test’ tanks that blasted their way through Poland and France, oh by the way as expensively as they could’ve made a tank they did, the Panzer 1 had nickel enriched armor, with fully functional turrets! “You don’t need those for drivers training” -An author I forget, to put the final nail in the coffin of this ridiculous statement, why would the “Training” tank use the MG13ks, and not the MG34s, like every tank after? Surely it would be better to train the crew with the expected machine gun, but no, the Panzer 1 had 13ks, because they were super reliable compared to the 34, which made them good in the machine gun only tank for......combat

Henrey bradley no, you didn’t, you wrote an article that has just a couple blatant problems but the biggest is that it’s an alternate history scenario, I’m talking about the actual war, where the US fed both Russia and Britain’s people when the Germans came knocking in their respective attacks
Also to destroy the foundation of it the BEF escaped regardless, the war cabinet and Royal Navy would not sit idle watching their army get killed
The only thing your article even argues is the only good part of winston Churchill, that his refusal to surrender was the correct decision, and it’s one I agree with, but FDR wanted in on the war as soon as motherfucking possible, and Pearl Harbor was ALWAYS going to happen, because like the others, the US was Japan’s lifeline, and when they froze their assets and cut trade, they needed to find a new lifeline, which meant war with the US

Henrey bradley you fockin wot m8? Yes, precisely, the largest economy on the planet did less to supply the Soviets than the fourth largest when the Soviets were the second largest, yes exactly galaxy brain, but you’re right the 30,000 or so Sherman’s (JUST Sherman’s) that were lend lease just didn’t see action on the eastern front, neither did those M3 Lees, or those American trucks, or American food products (because Britain is known for its food production huh?) or their bullets, or guns, or, there’s no point arguing with a brick wall, who thinks he’s hot shit for writing an alt history article as if it matters
And no I don’t refuse to acknowledge any of that, I never said that, quit strawmanning me please

@jimiraj no guy, no, he had no artillery, none of his artillery, his AT guns, none of his wounded, could move, and none of the fourth panzer army were in any way combat capable, they had just been mauled to hell and stuck encircled, they obviously had no fuel to work with considering how much was brought in, there was no breakout possible, they would’ve just been killed sooner, strategically it was best for 6th army to die like they did so they could tie down as many soviets as they could to allow Army Group B to escape the Caucasus
Do people forget that Stalingrad wasn’t the point of Fall Blau?

@Treklosopher not every soldier was a war criminal, 17 million men served, not all 17 million were war criminals, not even most, not even half, how many is probably impossible to say
As much as I agree, the nazis deserved to die old, after decades of torture, not every soldier was a Nazi, not even every party member, as the GDR would show later party membership is simply necessary for career progress

I pine for a game that is a 5 player coop in a Panzer 3 where the roles are way more in depth, like the driver has to go through all the motions while fulfilling his responsibilities, the loader maintaining the ready rack, properly assessing the correct ammo for the correct target, etc, and try to show the whole being more than the sum of its parts, where success is determined by cooperation and unity
could have the crewman be various characters that are exemplary of various German mindsets at the time, perhaps a hardcore Nazi, a Nazi critic, a commander who doesn’t give a fuck and is only there to win for Germany, a veteran of the Great War who just wanted vengeance on old enemies, and a young impressionable kid
Maybe as the game progresses they can be upgraded to the Panzer 4 and maybe further, maybe they’re apart of general Heinz Guderian’s Panzer corps, seeing and showing players firsthand the challenges and differences of the eastern and western fronts

I know I’m a day late but i recommend this game thats probably on Pc and on Xbox One (at the least) called Drive on Moscow, it’s a turn based strategy game set during Operation Typhoon
I’m actually writing a review for it, no idea how long it’ll take, but since every review I’ve seen for this somewhat flawed but pretty good game is like, ass, I’m making my own, but i would recommend it, if nothing else the history of the offensive seen on the developer, Shenandoah studios, website is a fascinating read (and funny when they misspell words like ‘taking’ into ‘talking’), it even talks about the heavy losses experienced in Barbarossa’s opening months and doesn’t just ‘muh winter’ but does detail some of the major problems the winter had for the Axis (they refuse to say German or Nazi) advance
