Just for accuracy the National Guard is a part of the US army, they’re not separate (the Air National Guard is the same for the Air Force) in any meaningful way for him

@DOMINIK99013 they did all leopards up

Abrams is the perfect tank, because they actually have plenty to send Too bad they’re too pussy right now to send enough of them to actually get anything done Still, artillery ammo reigns supreme in need
4
No, they upgrade every western tank with armor
3
Abrams exists if you didn’t know In fact storage abrams outnumber every single leopard on the planet, especially the actually working ones, just ask the Spanish
3
@Laflamme78 …ok, roof armor tends to be that weak, and? Doesn’t change the need for mobile firepower, nor does it change the ability for it to be used in indirect fire roles

@red_ed5715 how’s that worked out with Ukraine’s armed forces tripled in size and their capability having skyrocketed, through combat experience and provided modern or modernized to 2010s standards equipment? Russian goals were pretty clear they always talk about it: No more nato expansion Demilitarized/neutral Ukraine No west leaning (what they call Nazi to sell it better) government What have they gotten? Finland and Sweden in nato Massive increase in Ukrainian armed forces capability and numbers Ukrainian population rallied to the western bloc and against Russia Political goals of this war have not and will not be achieved

@airborneranger-ret I’m specifically referencing the Chieftain since that’s what he said in the video prompting my comment

@historyandhorseplaying7374 no it’s not you’re just wrong
1
@Ranyick no, it doesn’t suffer the problem of supply, the important part
1
@historyandhorseplaying7374 oh no! Anyway No seriously, what’s the criticism? Turbine is just as good as the diesel it’s not the 80s anymore, the turbine is actually better than the diesel now a days due to the bonuses and lack of downsides Also I’m calling the politicians pussies, if you knew anything about anything you would know that, of course I know you don’t.
1
@historyandhorseplaying7374 you’re wrong about everything ‘I worked on Abrams!’ That’s fantastic (and a lie most likely), doesn’t mean what you say is factual about battlefield usage, supply, or political will to send them Leopard 2 is just as old btw, leopard 1 even more old
1
@historyandhorseplaying7374 JP8 is so hard to come by that we run thousands of tanks with them Insane I mean it’s not like the polish bought abrams and have been getting the prep done for their maintainers and-oh fuck they have Again prior experience doesn’t make anything you say factual it makes it anecdotal
1
@historyandhorseplaying7374 wait what’s the desire to send equipment gotta do with ‘being gung ho to get involved go enlist’? What’s the connection? Is this the classic crybaby service member ‘go join up then if you think x y or z!’ Dismissal of any statement? Yes? Yeah I know ‘The politicians are elected to keep us out of wars’ no they’re not, I don’t know how someone like you who was involved in Iraq says this since your ass was supposedly there. Politicians are elected to lead and run the nation in the best capacity they can, including foreign policy! Ukraine does have things to do with us, you may have noticed gas got super expensive at the same time Russia invaded! Did ya notice that?
1
@historyandhorseplaying7374 we is the US, the US tank fleet which has one tank? The Abrams? I thought you’d know that given you, supposedly, worked on Abrams. Yeah, you’re just outing yourself now, I’m not wasting another second on you

If you’re gonna repeat the most overrated dumb line ‘mil/his buffs’ like to say at least repeat it right. Right now tactics are the most important thing actually cuz their continued lack of scaling (don’t know what that means, do you?) is the limiting factor
1
@seanbumstead1250 what a very naive and weak view of the world, criticism and challenges are what allows us to grow

@red_ed5715 define winning?
