@ wrong, tell that to the starving Soviet citizens “Hey, you guys wanna lose out on 40% of our food supplies? We are already suffering significant hunger” Or the Air Force “hey guys wanna lose almost all of our aluminum and aviation fuel supplies because we don’t make that kind of fuel?” I humbly disagree with this myth Or the factories “hey guys wanna lose out on our machine tool suppliers?” Or the guys making explosives “hey guys wanna lose out on 2/3s of our materials for making explosives?” The Soviets didn’t stop them in 1941, considering they continued pushing in 1942, besides 40% of all medium+ armor was western sourced at the battle of Moscow. I humbly disagree

Bit hard to say the war was lost in 1940 when the two main forces that would defeat the Germans weren’t in the war I think After all, within outside support (especially American) the Soviets wouldn’t have survived the war, whether or not the Germans lost

@ that’s great, now tell me how the red Air Force is supposed to not let the Germans rain hellfire again with no fuel and how the Soviet artillery is supposed to…artillery without any explosive material, or how the people are supposed to eat with no food, or how the factories make equipment without tools Stopping them once isn’t enough (just ask the French), you can still be broken, and they would have no ifs ands or buts

Because the Stug life didn’t choose the west

@ yes I’ve watched it and I saw that asinine line ‘the Soviets would’ve procured replacements’ Where? Where do they get the aviation fuel? Nowhere, where do they get the aluminum? Nowhere, where do they get the food? nowhere

@ I don’t see the practical difference of a Soviet Union stripped of most of its industry and resources that just didn’t write a surrender document, it’s not capable of doing anything Actually it still wouldn’t survive due to starvation

@ they did stop the Germans, at Gamblaux The Germans came back for more No one mentioned anything about where the factories were or the bomber range, no fuel means planes don’t fly, so the Germans conquer the skies again, no machine tools means factories are nigh on worthless beyond rifle production, you just don’t get do ya strawman?

@ no it wasn’t, you’re just making that up, new engines spit at shit fuel ‘They would’ve have expanded those’ this stupidity is on par with ‘the Germans should’ve just built more stuff’ Why did the Soviet Union starve incessantly then? They had a famine immediately after the war At least you acknowledge they have no rubber since ALL of the rubber is controlled by the western allies or Japan You are coping, you have not provided a SINGLE piece of evidence or data point
