  13. When I visited Japan for a month, even though I knew it as a fact I was surprised to experience how inexpensive Tokyo was for food and some other stuff, especially compared to my basis of reference for such a massive city: NYC, the average wage in Tokyo would be cardboard box level in NYC

Homelessness has nothing to do with ‘how cheap is it to live a first world lifestyle’ that makes no fucking sense
