There’s a reason america is one of the only nations that doesn’t maintain old and new planes and only maintains new planes (the B-52 notwithstanding), especially fighters, whereas major air forces have stuck with mediocre to good planes trying to modernize them or just keeping trash planes like even China and Russia, who maintain very poor planes
